In a recent ExcelSource project, our client believed their Facilities Services could be delivered more cost effectively and our preliminary assessment indicated a saving was possible. We were engaged to more accurately quantify this saving and the best mode for future operation. Following a detailed benchmarking assessment, comparing the client’s services with of competitors in their market sector, we were able to highlight the differences between the client’s current costs and those of other organisations. Some differences were unique to our client and where therefore justified, but others were real opportunities for driving value. It was decided the best way forward was to Outsource.
